THE NEXT STAR is the cross-country search for a diamond in the rough talent that will be mentored and trained in all things that make a star.

Open to all aspiring pop stars fifteen years old and under, a panel of industry expert judges watches thousands of kids audition nationwide. The field is then narrowed to six finalists who participate in a 13-week pop star boot camp – it’s the fans who decide who will be named the winner.

THE NEXT STAR finalists receive a new assignment every week. They work with a hit- making music producer to create their first single; they struggle through a hectic day of promotion; personal styles are revamped; industry advice is bestowed. And it all ends at the LIVE finale concert where the top 6 singles are released. Recording studios. Makeovers. Radio and television interviews. Exclusive industry events. Watch the top 6 work to transform themselves for the spotlight.

And what is the big prize at the end of it all? A killer music video and record contract with Universal Music.
